The 242 bicycle ride starts tomorrow. We're riding the entire Natchez Trace from Nashville, Tennessee to Natchez, Mississippi (construction willing). I hope to write again. But then again, I am often hopeful.

Though the side of our trailer and the back of our shirt is all about The Devil's Backbone. (In the photo the devil's backbone is blocked by our backbones.)
I like apple fritters.
And even though I like hiding in Wisconsin temperatures for the summer, I'm looking forward to southern bicycle riding.
It's all nice on ice.
